Amore dei Gatti Night fundraiser

Enjoy an evening of Italian cuisine and help For the Love of Cats, the no-kill rescue on Marco Island. Dine anytime from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22 at Ristorante La Piazza, 1000 N. Collier Boulevard, Marco Island, and Mario and Peter, owners of La Piazza, will donate 20% of your total bill to For the Love of Cats to help save abandoned cats and kittens in the community. Tea Ladies Holiday Bazaar

The event will take place 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 23 at New Life Community Church, 590 West Elkcam Circle and will feature gifts, a bake sale, prizes, a barbecue lunch and much more. Information: 239-394-3469.

Boogie and Blues

The Marco Island Charter Middle School will play host to the Boogie and Blues fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 23. The event will be held at the Marco Hilton and is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Scheduled to appear include the Marco Island Charter Middle School Jazz Band and the STARZ singers. The evening will offer dinner and a live and silent auction. Tickets are $50 each or two tickets for $90.Tickets can be purchased at the Marco Island Charter Middle School and also by calling 239-377-3200. All proceeds to benefit the Marco Island Charter Middle School.
