Wednesday morning starts mostly sunny and dry with temperatures in the middle 70s in Southwest Florida.

Partly sunny skies will take us through midday as afternoon highs gradually warm into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees. Clouds will continue to increase during the afternoon hours with scattered showers and a few storms moving toward area beaches.

Tonight, a few rain areas will linger through the evening with partly cloudy skies overnight. Temperatures will settle into the middle 70s.
