SW Florida weather: Rain chances non-existent through weekend

Thursday is off to a nice start across Southwest Florida. Expect a good amount of sunshine all day with temperatures warming into the mid to upper 80s. Humidity will also be lower than it has been lately.

Rain chances Thursday and through the next several days are non-existent. Drier air is moving into Southwest Florida in the mid and upper levels of the atmosphere, allowing for plenty of sunshine.

At the surface, a northerly breeze at about 5 to 10 mph will bring in drier air, giving the drop in humidity that you will feel. Similar conditions will continue through the long Columbus Day holiday weekend.
