The weather pattern is changing. For Thursday, we'll see some sunshine for the first half of the day, then clouds will build and scattered showers and storms are headed to Southwest Florida for the afternoon and evening.
With breezes coming in from the east, much of the activity will be aimed toward the urban corridor. For Friday and Saturday, the winds will turn more west/northwest, and will likely send much of the afternoon shower and storm activity into the inland areas.
Coverage of rain today will be around 60 percent, and then the coverage will go down to around 30 percent for Friday and Saturday. Enjoy this "drier weather" while it is here, because by Sunday the amount of shower activity will really start ramping up.
