The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for inland Collier County until 9 a.m.

Expect a rather mild and humid start Monday morning with temperatures in the middle to upper 60s. Once the fog lifts, partly sunny skies will take us into the afternoon hours with minimal rain chances.

A couple of isolated showers will be possible mainly east of Interstate 75, otherwise plan on a fairly dry and warm start to the week. In fact, afternoon highs will run 10 degrees above average as they climb into the middle 80s.

With the developing west coast sea breeze, temperatures will be slightly cooler along the coast and at beach locations. With clear skies and light winds in the forecast tonight, patchy fog will be a concern for the early morning commute on Tuesday. Temperatures will also settle in the middle to upper 60s.
