Fans of the North Fort Myers bald eagle family were shocked when one of the eagle chicks died over the weekend.

This statement was posted to the Southwest Florida Eagle Cam Tumblr about the eaglets death, "After a few days of a noticeable behavior change, E3’s health deteriorated and passed away in the nest early this morning."

The eagles known as Ozzie and Harriet have drawn more than 22 million viewers since the property owner's, The Pritchett family installed the infamous "Eagle Cam."
