After starting this Sunday morning with some clouds and a little fog, Southwest Florida should expect increasing sunshine into the afternoon as drier, slightly cooler air filters into the area.

Clouds will gradually thin out from north to south by the mid to late morning, so residents further south across Collier County will hang on to the cloud cover a bit longer.

This afternoon will be noticeably less humid, and temperatures will be a little cooler than yesterday with daytime highs reaching the mid to upper 70s.

With a mainly clear sky in place tonight, temperatures will become a little cool this evening into Monday morning as lows drop into the mid to upper 50s.
