I’m seeing red today because Valentine’s Day caps off a week of family fun. But V-Day isn’t just for couples — these events will please kids who love hearts and flowers, too.
It’s a Hikes for Tykes — Camouflage Crawl at the Calusa Nature Center, from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday. Come walk the Pine Loop in search of animals as nature guides teach children ages 3 to 5 how to identify animal hiding spots. This walk is not stroller-accessible. Another historic plane has landed at Naples Municipal Airport. A 1929 Ford TriMotor is here for tours. Flights are $75 for adults and $50 for a child 17 and younger. The nine-passenger plane affords each rider a window view. An adult must accompany children 16 and younger. Get cozy with little blue characters and come out to Cambier Park for Outdoor Movie Night on Saturday, Feb. 15. "The Smurfs 2" will have parents reminiscing about Saturday morning cartoon from their childhood.
