After a cold and windy day across Southwest Florida on Tuesday, we have another chilly morning on tap before our warming trend begins. This will set the stage for a nicer weekend with temperatures climbing into the lower to middle 80s.
You'll need the winter jackets again Wednesday morning as temperatures will start out in the middle 40s here in town. Colder readings in the upper 30s to lower 40s will be possible mainly across our interior and northern communities.
Skies will remain mostly cloudy with a few isolated showers through the afternoon. Despite more clouds, winds will be taking more of an easterly turn, allowing daytime highs to warm into the upper 60s with a few spots warming to that 70-degree mark across Collier County.
Tonight, expect mostly cloudy skies and a few rain areas. Temperatures tonight won't be as cold as moisture returns to the area. In fact, overnight lows will be well above average as they settle into the lower 60s.
