Southwest Florida will have more cold air to track this week as a cooler than normal weather pattern continues across the area.

We will start the day with some areas of thick fog, particularly away from the beaches and deeper inland. A dense fog advisory is in place this morning for Desoto, Charlotte, and Lee County until 9 a.m.

Once the fog lifts, the day will be mostly sunny with comfortable conditions, featuring low humidity and highs in the low to mid 70s.

Tonight's temperatures will drop to the mid to upper 50s. There may be potential for a little rain near the coast farther south across Collier County.
