Bundle up! We've started another stretch of chilly weather across Southwest Florida that will last into the upcoming weekend.

Temperature this morning have tumbled into the 40s, and combined with a stiff northerly breeze, wind chill values are as low as the upper 30s. Despite clear skies and plenty of sunshine, temperatures will struggle to make it out of the 50s this afternoon.

With a clear sky and calm wind expected tonight, conditions will be ideal for optimal cooling, especially away from the beaches and deeper inland. Low temperatures tonight will drop into the mid to upper 30s over urban Charlotte and Lee County and into the low 40s from Naples to Marco Island. A freeze watch is posted for inland Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties, in addition to all of DeSoto, Glades and Hendry counties through Thursday morning.
