Like most mornings this week, it's another chilly start across Southwest Florida. The good news for you warm weather fans is our weather gradually warms up this weekend with highs back in the 70s for the first time in several days.

After starting this Saturday morning in the 40s, we're on track to warm into the mid to upper 60s by noon with temps peaking around 70 degrees for most of us this afternoon. For the beaches, temperatures will be noticeably cooler, though, as the sea breeze comes in off a very chilly Gulf of Mexico later today; temperatures for our coastal zones should only be able to warm into the upper 60s.

Today's breeze won't be nearly as brisk (and chilly) as it was Friday, which will make for improved boating conditions today...as long as the 59 degrees water temp doesn't bother you.
