Lely football coaches impressed by early practices

It is early in spring football practice, yet the Lely coaches are smiling. After just eight days of practice, coach Steve Pricer told his team on Friday, “I am very impressed with what I have seen so far. You are so far ahead of last year. Florida again leads the nation in boating fatalities and Southwest Florida is among the most dangerous areas in the state. According to statistics released this week by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, 77 people were killed on the water in 2007. Nine of those deaths occurred in Southwest Florida.
