The Island Country Club Charitable Foundation is hosting its 8th annual Charity Golf Tournament on Feb. 23.

Originally owned and developed by the Belgian Van Der Lely family, the ever-burgeoning Lely Resort boasts three of the classiest and most popular courses in golf course-rich Collier County.

Golfers turned out in force on Sept. 27 for the third annual Marco Island Police Foundation golf tournament, held in ideal conditions at the Island Country Club. Organizers expect to swell the foundation’s coffers by about $20,000 with the proceeds.
