"The older you get, the more things bug you, and your tolerance gets smaller. The biggest thing that bothers me is way too many commercials on TV, and this interminable election. Those two things stand out in my mind. Also, and this is perhaps somewhat mean in spirit; but it’s the stupidity of people on this island in terms of politics, and complaints about nothing. Also, I think the majority of the people living on this island are cheap. They like free everything."

"I think that during tourist season, people need to remember that everyone else is in the same situation, and they just need extra two seconds to look behind them and be courteous and polite. Usually that results in a resolution to whatever seemingly unsolvable problem there might be. Obviously, there are going to be things that come up in life which we want to say are problems, but I like to say that no one has problems; they just have opportunities and challenges. This is the key to life."

"I hate traffic, but it’s nice right now. I don’t like it when people drive too slowly in the fast lane. Also, I don’t like dirty dishes in the sink when the dishwasher’s right there. My husband takes off his clothes and leaves them lying near the shower, so I ask him if he’s going to pick them up today or tomorrow. Or, does he want me to pick them up? I don’t get bothered too much, though. I yell at him the first time and the second time, and the third time I’m beating him up, so he doesn’t let it get to the third time. He learns fast."
