"I watched water polo. I didn’t really know the sport ... all the hats and stuff. It was interesting the way it was in deep water. I also watched the diving, and thought it was amazing how they did all the flips and then went in with no splash. I thought badminton was interesting, too, and I was amazed at how fast they hit the shuttle. There were some English women in the semi-final. Trap shooting was good, too."

"I liked the synchronized diving. I think it’s very graceful how they dive and hit the water very perpendicular. I saw diving at the previous Olympics, but not really the synchronized diving. We didn’t watch too much else, except some track and field. From what we saw, we thought the overall coverage was good. The opening ceremony was pretty good, but we didn’t see the closing ceremony because we were watching things about the (Democratic) convention coming up."

"Waterpolo. It wasn’t that I particularly liked it, but I thought it was kind of weird. The synchronized diving was good ... the way they go at the same time. Oh yeah, badminton too. You can’t believe how fast they hit (the shuttle). Those were the sports that were kind of weird to me. The others I all knew. I liked rhythmic gymnastics. I’ve done it. The people are very graceful with their hands."
