"There’s no school, and you get to spend time with your parents. I also play football in the summer. I love the heat; it’s better than the cold up north where I used to live. I spend quite a lot of time at Mackle Park too. The island’s quiet, too."

"I like playing with friends. There’s no school, and I get to stay out later because it gets darker later. I’m used to the heat. We’ve live here for five years. I still like the snow (in Ohio), but the heat doesn’t bother me. I like the evenings best."

"We lived in Kentucky and it’s hotter there than here during the summer. So the summer here isn’t bad, but I don’t really pay attention to it because I’m running around with friends. I like the afternoons, when I just relax at home. Marco’s actually much better in summer than winter."
