Election result aside, what are your hopes and dreams for the American people?

"The economy. People trying to buy homes and they can’t. People being thrown out of their homes. These are the issues I hope will get better. That’s my number one priority. I would like to see our troops pulled back. It’s been so many years now, and I don’t see any outcome in what we’re doing over there, so I’d like to see them come back. With this election, I feel people talked about it more openly, and that a lot more people voted."

"It’s a very serious topic. I’m hoping that the war in Iraq will be played out the way McCain wanted it, and I’d basically like to see less government and more state control of education and welfare systems. I’d like to back away from the big government policy. Health care, I think, can be managed within the states as many states are doing successfully now. I don’t know how the economy will recover at this stage."

"I’m very optimistic that the American people have made the decision to put us on a different course than where we’ve been going. It’s time to get back to ordinary people to make the decisions. The economy is going to take some very smart people. We have them, but you have to use them. The same goes for the military. Iraq also has to be handled by smart people in a diplomatic way."
