Do you go for brand-name clothes, or aren’t you fussy?

"Brand-name clothes, because they’re cool. My friends usually wear them, and I see (ads for) them on TV. They also have them in ads at the movies. I like Abercrombie and Hollister. They make shirts, pants, shoes and bathing suits. I’d buy something I liked that wasn’t a brand-name, though. But my closet at home is mostly brand-name."

"Skateboarding and surfing clothes, brand-name stuff. I like the designs on the clothes. I buy Billabong and Volcom mostly. I like the surfing and skateboarding clothes because that’s what I like to do. Sometimes I’ll buy stuff that’s not brand-name. Brand-name clothes are a bit more expensive. The manufacturers are smart."

"I’d probably say it’s about half and half. I do like brand-name clothes, but those are definitely really expensive. So, I usually go to off-brand stores and get what I like. A lot of times, you’ll get some actual good stuff at places like K-Mart or Wal-Mart. Of the brand names, Aeropostale’s a good one for collared shirts. Other than that, I don’t really try for brand names, and don’t really pay too much attention to those names."
