"I’m not superstitious at all, and I’ve never thought about it. I just don’t get scared. People who do, well, I guess it’s just their own personal opinion ... what they believe in. When I was younger, I didn’t step over cracks in the sidewalk, I walked right on them. (Afterthought): There is one I believe in. If you break a mirror, you get seven years’ bad luck."

"I never had any superstitions. For me, Friday the 13th is just a scary movie. That’s what I think of. People who are superstitious just have one more thing to worry about. You don’t need this ... there’s plenty of other things to be worried about. I just think superstitions are a waste of time. I wasn’t raised that way. This one (today) is just the day before Valentine’s Day, which is a good day."

"Not really. Over the years, Friday the 13th to me has just come and gone. Unless there’s been a conversation about it, it never really entered my mind as to whether or not I was superstitious. So, I guess I’m not. But my mother and grandmother were tea leaf readers, and were suspicious about everything, including Friday the 13th. It’s like something political. If you let it all bother you to the extent that you’re paranoid, then it’s bothersome."
