Patricia Pickard and Gary Hauze, whose home sits notably on the corner of Sea Coral Court and East Terry Street in Bonita Springs, started a wave of holiday decorations on the street that can draw hundreds of spectators every night. Neighbors on the street spend more time sitting outdoors and talking openly with one another and passersby almost nightly, they say. 'There were some people from London who stopped by and they asked, 'Why do you do this?' And I said, 'Because you're smiling,'' said Pickard.
