Martin Delrios slowly chips away at the pinboard on an 80 year-old Steinway & Sons piano. Delrios, from New York, started working for Steinway and Sons in Queens 26 years ago. Now the craftsman painstakingly restores each by hand. "Steinway crafts each piano by hand," said Delrios. "Each component is specifically made for that piano, and you can't switch parts out from one piano to another; they are each hand-crafted for that piano."
