Immokalee resident Ronnie Delaford, 46, sits in his room last month smoking Newport cigarettes and listening to a television that he can’t see due to his blindness. Delaford contracted HIV more than five years ago went blind from it about one year ago. His home is in disrepair, something he hopes to remedy before he dies so he can leave it to his children.
