Virginia D'Amore of Naples tries to escape the waves rolling onto the beach while shooting video and photos of the Naples Pier at the Broad Avenue beach access in Naples, following Hurricane Wilma landfall Monday morning, October 24. D'Amore said she also came out to shoot the pier following Hurricane Charley but noted visibility was much better following Wilma. Water completely covered the beaches in Naples following the Category 3 hurricane.
