John Burns, a part-time Fort Myers resident, stands between the five major championship trophies that were on display at the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine earlier this year. The trophies, from left to right, are the Walker Cup, The Open Championship claret jug, the U.S. Amateur, The Amateur Championship and the U.S. Open, all of which Bobby Jones won or was part of winning in 1930. Today is the 75th anniversary of Jones completing the Grand Slam.
