Greg Davenport, of Naples, carries a matress into Laitaille's new rental home the day after she signed a year-long lease. The Davenport family heard about Laitaille's plight in the paper and wanted to help her. Davenport and his family moved and stored Laitaille's belongings that survived the fire. They also helped her purchase beds to replace those that were ruined in the fire, and gave them food and clothes. 'Greg and his wife were like angels to me,' said Laitaille.
