Tourists walk by the first of three Edison Estates buildings being treated for termites Monday as a preventive measure. The three-day process will allow the buildings to be reopened Thursday. The termite treatment was a planned event after the $9 million restoration of the historic structures. The main house, guest house and caretaker's quarters will be treated. The estates grounds will remain open and there is reduced admission to the Edison & Ford Winter Estates through Wednesday in addition to a return ticket to use later.
