Holmes Hall, the planned home of the U.A. Whitaker School of Engineering, is scheduled to open Fall 2008. The 70,000 square-foot building is planned to accommodate the bioengineering, civil engineering and environmental engineering degree programs. The Whitaker Foundation donated $5 million and The Ginn Company donated $2.5 million, all matched by the state for a total of $15 million.
