Steve Engle, an officer with Florida Gulf Coast University for four years, passes out parking warnings on cars parked in the grass at the FGCU campus in Estero on Thursday. Engle has passed out hundreds of warnings since the start of the school year. He attributes most of the illegal parking to students becoming acquainted with the campus and changing classes. Beginning Monday, police officers will issue tickets.
