Gulf Coast High School juniors Lauren Myers, 16, front, and Katie Bracht, 17, put the finishing touches on their makeup before performing with the school’s varsity dance team in the International Festival at Gulf Coast High School in North Naples on Thursday evening. The festival featured more than a dozen performances by students, including dancing, singing, and guitar playing. Each performance focused on a different culture from around the world. Proceeds from the event go toward a college scholarship fund to recognize students who have encouraged appreciation of mulitcultural diversity at the school.
