Bonita Springs resident Bobby Preece, left, and Naples resident Toby Heaslip are former members of the Junior Everblades who have gone on to compete at the highest levels of junior hockey. Preece, 21, already accepted a scholarship to Bentley (Mass.) College and Heaslip, 17, signed last Wednesday with the United States Hockey League's Columbus (Ohio) Blue Jackets.
