Parade participants on the Seminole Tribe of Florida swamp buggy, promoting the At-tah-thi-ki Museum, toss candy to spectators gathered along the street outside City Hall during the annual Independence Day parade through Everglades City on Sunday afternoon. The theme for the festivities was "Let Freedom Ring: Honoring our Troops in 2006." After the parade, activities at McLeod Park included the Everglades Firecracker Costume Contest, music, children's activities, and of course, there was food for all.
