Shoo, fly,  -  don’t bother us  - They say Montana is Big Sky Country, right? Well, out west in  Washington State, it appears as though it’s Big Fly Country. Of  course, there really wasn’t a giant insect about to land on the Mount St. Helens volcano. The situation was just “one of those conditions beyond our control” when the mutant bug decided to take a timeout on the lens of the “Volcanocam” that monitors the activity at the mountain. The image was recorded from the Johnston Ridge Observatory, located at an elevation of approximately 4,500 feet.
