Estero resident Eileen Galvin snacks on tea and finger foods during the “Tea in the Tropics” gathering at the Pelican Sound Golf Club in Estero on Thursday. The afternoon tea is an annual event that benefits the Estero Historical Society. The tea also had a silent auction including a two-day stay at the Marco Island Marriott Resort, Golf Club & Spa. Galvin said the event was an afternoon “to put a fun hat on, to put a fun dress on,” and to remember the past.
