Community School of Naples freshmen Keri Allen, center, and Kristen Petersen, right, and about eight of their classmates fill sand bags Tuesday at Hospice of Naples in North Naples in preparation for the upcoming hurricane season. During Hurricane Wilma, the facility took in some water from the lake behind the residential patient building, so the staff is getting ready early for the coming season. All 77 freshman students at the Community School of Naples have volunteered during the year for the organization and will continue to volunteer for hospice until they graduate.
