ECCL member Don Dronkers recently presented a $135 check to ECCL treasurer Chris Smith, marking the official opening the ECCL's Estero Community Improvement Foundation, Inc., bank account. The $135 signifies 1/1000th of the $135,000 goal for the foundation's first project — landscaping the roadside perimeters of Estero High School along Williams and River Ranch roads. All donations to the foundation are tax-deductible.
