Collier County Sheriff’s Office mounted patrol officers salute the flag during the Pledge of Allegiance to start the service to remember deputies killed in the line of duty Thursday morning. The service was held at the Collier County Sheriff’s Office Memorial at the Government Center, which is engraved with the names of eight Collier County sheriff’s deputies who lost their lives in the line of duty.
