Henri Meillier, 74, of North Naples, has used a variety of materials to create a series of mixed-media art he calls “Hurricane.” Meillier started the series during the landfall of Hurricane Wilma in 2005 and says he hopes to have paintings on dispaly in Naples this summer. Meillier uses wood, gravel, metal and other materials as a foundation for his abstract art.
