Lely High’s Ling Su touches as Marco Island’s Wesley Blassneck takes off from the block, while 200 freestyle relay teammates Louisa and Mercedes Farhat of Marco Island watch in Class 2A state swimming championships at Fort Lauderdale on Friday. The relay team came in sixth for Lely’s best finish. In individual races, Blassneck placed 12th in the 200 and 500 freestyle races, Mercedes Farhat was 14th in the 200 individual medley and 15th in the 100 breaststroke and Harry Stephenson placed 17th in the 200 individual medley and 12th in the 500 freestyle races.
