Activities coordinator Betty Lou Scavone packs up hundreds of shoe boxes filled with children's gifts at the Life Care Center of Estero on Monday. The center was a collection hub for "Operation Christmas Child" by Samaritan's Purse, which expects to ship more than 8 million gift-filled shoe boxes to needy children around the world for Christmas.
