David Rivers, Lely High Tennis Champion, is flanked by Tom Gullikson and Chris Evert at The Gullikson Pro-Am at the Players Club on Nov. 18, 2006. David raised all of his $2500.00 entry fee from benefactors in less than a week. David, a senior at Lely, will anchor the Varsity Tennis Team this year at Court #1. He has been coached for many years by Doug and Leslie Browne of the Hideaway Beach Tennis Club, who arranged for David's last minute opportunity to play with some of his long-time tennis heroes.
