A zebra longwing butterfly prepares to land on a firebush blossom at the native plant habitat next to Sea Gate Elementary School in Naples on Friday. Firebush attracts hummingbirds and butterflies such as the zebra longwing, which is Florida's state insect and can live longer than six months, making it one of the longest-living butterflies in Florida.
