Nicole Lombillo carries off a barricade she found with other debris in Brookside Park during a cleanup effort of the park Friday. Lombillo, president of Brookside Waterfront Community Homeowners Association, met with 10 other residents to restore their overgrown community park and found all types of items that did not belong there, including a mattress, carpet and bicycles. The cleanup continues today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and volunteers are welcome to help out at the park, located on Brookside Drive off of Davis Boulevard near U.S. 41.
