Ruben Mejia applies the finishing touches to one of 430 vehicles that were cleaned during the annual free car wash event held at Progressive Auto Center by the Marco Island Noontime Rotary Club. Rotarian Linda Keutmann said voluntary donations and pre-paid corporate sponsorships yielded about $6,000. The club donates money locally, primarily toward children's education, but also to assorted local charities. Progressive Auto donated the facility for the day.
