Students at Pine Ridge Middle School watch a live broadcast from five NASA centers. The students learned about each center’s specialty, such as training astronauts, executing launches and robotics. The Thursday viewing was organized by math teacher Sally Johnson and science teacher Sharon Lea, the Team Lead for the NASA Explorer Schools Program at Pine Ridge Middle School. The event included interaction with 10 schools around the country over a two-day period.
