Residents, police officers and firefighters confer at the scene of the hit-and-run rampage that occurred on Dogwood Drive in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The suspect’s Ford Bronco, center, first hit a black truck (out of the picture) on the other side of the road, careened across the road, smashed into a Mitsubishi Pajero (facing camera) before going airborne and crushing the front of the white Ford Explorer and demolishing part of the retaining wall at 1837 Dogwood Drive. Police said the occupants of the house were lucky the Explorer blocked the momentum of the Bronco, which could have continued and smashed into a bedroom of the house.
