Alibaba Lumumba, president of the Lee County Black History Museum in Fort Myers, would like to use an increase in funding to expand the museum's roll in the community in addition to helping pay for the daily operations. "We're creating tomorrow's history, " says Lumumba, who also hopes to increase the level of involvement by the museum's board, community and members in the day to day operation of the museum.
