REDISH EGRET:  This bird is truly RARE and is found almost exclusively in the souther tip of Florida.  If you are fortunate to see one of these feeding, they will be zig zag dancing through shallow water, neck in an S curve, and will shoot out their wings to shade the water and make their prey think they are under a tree branch as they quickly catch another meal.  Once they swallow their catch they fluff up their feather and shake as seen in this picture.  When seen side by side with common white egrets, they out perform the whites in feeding agility and speed.
