Quadruple amputee Daniel Davison walks on his knees on his new Pergo floor late last month as he sets up a chair to sit at his bathroom sink and prepare for his day. The Collier Building Industry Association’s Remodelors Council put new floors in Davison’s home as well as removed the cabinets under the vanity so the sink would be more easily accessible for him. The CBIA recently won an award from the National Association of Homebuilders for the project to help Davison live more comfortably.
