Marco Island Healthcare Auxiliary presents a reception from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday with refreshments at the wellness area of the Gene Sarazen Health Clinic. “Anyone interested in joining the volunteer group, or to find out more about the facility, is welcome,” Marco Island Healthcare Auxiliary President Peggy Aurori (pictured above) said. “The chairpersons from most of the services will be available to explain just what we do.” Potential volunteers will be welcome to explore various positions, such as help with blood-pressure monitoring, coffee-shop service, blood-bank volunteers and patient-care facilities.
